Installation arduino:
just make a little :
sudo apt-get install arduino
Troubleshooting with the serial port that is not recognized (except as root). So do :
sudo usermod -a -G dialout apodio
sudo chmod a+rw /dev/ttyACM0

Installation pd-extended 43.4
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:eighthave/pd-extended
(then press enter)
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pd-extended
Installation nvidia-driver
On ajoute le depot du driver nvidia le plus récent :
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
On met à jour le cache
sudo apt-get update
Puis on installe le paquet nvidia-current (dernière version du driver)
sudo apt-get install nvidia-current
Et un petit redémarrage
sudo init 6
Installation fluxus:
On ajoute le depot de fluxus :
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:fluxus-maintainers/daves-test
On met à jour le cache
sudo apt-get update
Puis on installe les paquets suivants :
sudo apt-get install racket racket-common fluxus

Did you think we were gone?
did you think it was finished?
do you need a new distro every six months?
well, we don’t! and we are here!
Apodio 8 is based on a stable ubuntu and we are going to head on the next stable ubuntu version that will be out in April 2012! We are planning now the Apodio 9 for this summer!

APODIO OPEN SESSION

You are warmly welcome to participate to build the new APODIO version(Gnu/Linux distribution)
This new version will be based on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (a stable version we hope!!)
APODIO NEEDS YOU NOW!!!!!
-programmer : script & compilation languages (bash/python/php/c/c++)
-King or Queen of compilation (a number of software still need to be compiled to work) + .deb package to make
-Beta-tester (compilation, software version test, bugs tracker of any kind / help for the forgotten software…) /// +++ bugtracker to install!
-graphisme: icone, design, website…
-documentation: some much to document /// howto for newbies /// advanced users of apodio /// make your own…etc
-promotion: from sourceforge to the user /// media / mailing list / forum +++
-technical help to newbies // workshop / presentation (admin of sourceforge forum)
